The stem axis of the triple eccentric butterfly valve is simultaneously offset from the center of the valve plate and the center of the body, and the rotation axis of the valve seat is at an angle to the axis of the valve body passage. The range of three offset butterfly valves can withstand pressures up to 900 lbs, temperature resistance down to -196 °C, up to 700 °C, seals up to 0 leakage, and control ratios up to 100:1. It can be used on a variety of harsh, critical process control lines, whether for switching or regulation, and can be used with confidence and at a low cost.
