1. Sinopec wins Iraq mansuriya gas field development contract
Sinopec has won a contract to develop the mansuriya gas field in Diyala, Iraq’s eastern province, the Iraqi oil ministry said in a statement on Tuesday.
Last year, Iraq canceled its mansuriya gas field development contract with a group led by Turkish oil company (tpao) and decided to invite international energy companies to compete for development rights.
2. Maersk drilling won Brazil workover contract
Maersk drilling has signed a contract with karoon Energy Ltd to carry out workover operations on four wells in the BA ú Na field off the coast of Brazil using the semi submersible m æ RSK developer. The contract is expected to take effect in the first half of 2022 and will be valid for 110 days. The value of the contract is about $34 million, including rig modification and start-up costs.
3. U.S. makes final judgment on double anti industry damage of non refillable cylinders
On April 16, 2021, the U.S. International Trade Commission (ITC) voted to make a final affirmative determination of anti-dumping and countervailing industrial injury to non refillable steel cylinders imported from China, and found that the products involved in the case, which were claimed to have dumping and subsidies, caused substantial injury to the U.S. domestic industry.
4. BP plans to invest $1.3 billion to eliminate air fuel
BP plans to invest $1.3 billion to build a system that will collect natural gas released during oil production in the Permian region to eliminate highly controversial air-fuel behavior, adding that it may announce an end to air-fuel by 2025.
5. Indonesia will start 119 oil and gas projects in the whole value chain by 2025
According to global data, the world’s leading data analysis company, 119 oil and gas projects in Indonesia are expected to start operating in the whole value chain from 2021 to 2025, accounting for 6% of the total projects in the Asia Pacific region. Among them, there are 36 upstream projects, 27 midstream projects and 45 refining and petrochemical projects.
6. Eni obtains exploration right of UAE land block
Eni Rak, the local subsidiary of Eni group of Italy, recently announced that it has won an exploration and production sharing agreement of Ras Al Khaimah (one of the United Arab Emirates), which involves block 7 near mahani gas field in Sharjah, covering an area of 430 square kilometers. This is the first natural gas field discovered in the emirate in more than 30 years.
7. Welltec signed a long-term agreement with Saudi Aramco
Welltec announced a long-term contract (LFC) agreement with Saudi Aramco, which will enable Welltec to provide completion products and services to Saudi Aramco in any environment.
