1. COPL found light oil in the United States
COPL announced the discovery of a conventional light oil area last week. At present, it is estimated that the total discovered reserves are 1.5 billion to 1.9 billion barrels, of which the reserves under the company’s assets are 1.27 billion to 1.64 billion barrels.

3. Daewoo shipbuilding won a US $540 million marine order
Daewoo shipbuilding marine (DSME) said on Tuesday that it had won a $554 million deal from Chevron to build a field control station (FCS) for the jansz IO gas field 135 kilometers away from barrow island in Western Australia.
Jansz IO gas field supplies natural gas to Chevron’s Gorgon LNG plant in Barrow island.
4. Total extends drilling contract with Maersk drilling
Totalenergies E & P Suriname branch of totalenergies extended its contract with Maersk drilling last week, including drilling another well in area 58 off the coast of Suriname. According to the Danish drilling service provider on Thursday, the contract is worth US $20.5 million for 100 days and is planned to start work in March.
5. Eni has obtained five new exploration licenses in Egypt
Recently, the Egyptian Ministry of petroleum granted five new exploration licenses to Italian energy giant Eni (Eni). Eni said that the four licenses currently operated by the company are located on the sea and land of Egypt, and successfully participated in the international bidding for oil exploration and development in Egypt in 2021.
Earlier, Egyptian general oil company and Egyptian natural gas holding company announced the bidding through the Egyptian exploration and production portal.
Eni group has been in Egypt since 1954. At present, it is a major oil producer in Egypt, with a daily oil and gas production of about 350000 barrels
