1. The Permian Basin in the United States is expected to record production in September

According to the data of the US Energy Information Administration (EIA), the Permian Basin, the largest shale basin in the United States, is expected to reach a record 5.408 million barrels per day next month, and the daily output is expected to increase by 79000 barrels.

5. Gazprom’s natural gas exports fell by 36% this year

Gazprom, a Russian natural gas giant, said on Tuesday that its natural gas exports fell 36.2% to 78.5 billion cubic meters from January to mid August this year due to a sharp drop in deliveries to Europe. Gazprom also warned that the benchmark natural gas price in Europe may rise by 60% this winter.
